Feature Update

Backpack Exchange API Support, DeFi Classification Rules & More

Back to news

Thank you for using cryptact.

We are pleased to announce that the following updates have been completed.

New Exchange Support: Backpack Exchange

  • Backpack Exchange: Added API integration for this crypto exchange. Spot trades and USDC perpetual futures trades are imported automatically

API Improvements: BingX

  • BingX: The API integration now imports realized P&L and fees from Coin-M perpetual futures. Once Coin-M perpetual futures are synced via API, the "BingX/Perpetual Futures Statement" file upload is no longer available, to prevent P&L from being counted twice. Coin-M perpetual futures funding fees are not provided by the BingX API and need to be added with a custom file

File Additional Support/Improvements: Binance, bitbank, bitFlyer, FISCO, Gate.io, PBR Lending, SBI VC Trade

  • Binance: In the Futures Transaction History file (USDT-M and COIN-M), added support for the newer header format with an uppercase "TYPE" column. "OPTIONS_PREMIUM_FEE" and "OPTIONS_SETTLE_PROFIT", which previously caused errors, are now processed automatically as margin gain (MARGINGAIN) / margin loss (MARGINLOSS), and "CONTEST_REWARD" as a bonus (BONUS)
  • Binance: In the Transaction Records file, "Insurance Fund Compensation" is now processed automatically as margin gain (MARGINGAIN) / margin loss (MARGINLOSS), "Referee Rebates" and "Referrer Rebates" as bonuses (BONUS), "Asset Conversion Transfer" and "Multi-Asset Mode Auto Exchange" as buys (BUY) / sells (SELL) at market price, and "Futures Convert" as an exchange between coins
  • Binance: Added support for the Japanese-language version of the C2C History file
  • Binance: In the Spot Trades file, added support for the current Japanese and English CSV and Excel exports, including the format from October 2026 with the "Order No" and "AOR Conversion Pair" / "AOR Conversion Rate" columns. The timezone is now read from the period in the Excel file or from the "(UTC+9)"-style notation in the file name, and the timezone selected at upload is used when neither is available. When the date column header includes a timezone (e.g. Date(UTC)), that timezone takes priority, including for margin and bot trading files
  • Binance: In the Deposit History file, deposits whose Txid is "Internal transfer" are now treated as having no transaction ID, so all such deposits are imported even when there are several
  • bitbank: In the Deposit History file, deposits whose Txid is masked ("xxxxxxxx-xxxx-…") are now treated as having no transaction ID, so all such deposits are imported without an error even when there are several
  • bitFlyer: In the All Transactions file, "受取" (Receive) and "送付" (Send) rows with a blank memo are now processed automatically as regular deposits and withdrawals (following a bitFlyer specification change, files downloaded on or after August 6, 2026 output regular deposits and withdrawals as "受取" and "送付"). Affected users have been notified by email
  • FISCO: Japanese yen withdrawal files are now uploaded to "Fisco/出金" (Withdrawals) with the "JPY" sub-category, the same way as deposit files. The "Fisco/出金(日本円)" (JPY Withdrawals) upload box has been removed
  • Gate: In the account book (Assets) file, coin renames and snapshots where the coin before and after the change is treated as the same coin in cryptact and the amount is unchanged are now excluded from the calculation instead of causing an error
  • PBR Lending: For send fees in files with Japanese headers, transactions imported before the fix are now also correctly reflected as losses when the P&L is recalculated (no need to re-upload the file)
  • SBI VC Trade: In the Cashflow file, the XRP giveaway for seminar attendees ("その他") is now processed automatically as a bonus (BONUS). Crypto received through SBI VISA crypto card point exchanges is also processed as a buy (BUY) for rows in the format used from October 2026 (half-width brackets)

DeFi Improvements: Classification Rules

  • Added the "Classification rules" tab to DeFi Transactions. When you set a transaction type rule for a counterparty address of unidentified transfers, the rule is applied automatically to transfers with that address at the next sync
  • On the "Classification rules" tab, saved rules can be searched by label or address, and reviewed, edited or deleted by chain
  • DeFi Transactions now has "Transactions", "Classification rules" and "Address book" tabs

AI Integration (MCP & CLI)

  • Tax accountant plan accounts and client login accounts can now use the AI integration (MCP) and the CLI. Tax accountant plan accounts can select and work with a client's ledger in their firm

UI/UX Improvements

  • On the Summary page, the Total row of the coin table in the Yearly tab now shows the totals of Total revenue and Total cost
  • When adding a transaction manually, a DeFi token or custom coin can now be selected as the destination coin of a REBRAND
  • Fixed an issue in the journal export where a negative JPY trading fee (such as a bitbank maker fee) was counted twice (reflected when the journal is regenerated)
  • The plan selection page now matches the pricing page, including the journal export feature available on Pro plans and above, and the number of supported cryptocurrencies
  • On the checkout page, the reason is now shown when a coupon code cannot be applied
  • The realized P&L chart on the Portfolio page now loads data for the selected year
  • On the Transactions page, the P&L column can now be sorted in ascending or descending order (when the filtered list has up to 100,000 transactions)
  • For unclassified borrow returns (RETURN) whose source has no matching open borrow, the error message now shows the sources that still have an open borrow and their amounts, and the repair wizard lets you select one of them
  • Fixed an issue where editing a transaction dropped the milliseconds from its time, which could cause an error when the same file was uploaded again

We appreciate your continued support of cryptact.
