Nicolas obtained his PhD in data modeling and analysis in 2010 at the French Institute of Radio-protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN). After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear incident of 2011, he moved to Japan as a data scientist to work on radionuclide dynamic modeling in the environment at the University of Tsukuba. During this time he also undertook projects working on stock market price prediction using the latest deep / machine learning technologies. He was then recruited in 2016 by AI companies in Tokyo to work on projects involving time series analysis, event prediction, car automation and computer vision. Nicolas has a passion for data and the stories that data can tell.
